The Perfect Blend of Ingredients for Coffee Peeling

You’d think that after trying dozens of DIY coffee scrub recipes, you’d find at least one that works.
But all you have are messy Saturdays spent mixing ingredients and dull skin that’s in desperate need of a scrub with top-quality products.
The basic homemade coffee scrub with brown sugar and coconut oil might not work for your skin type; you need something that actually does.
Word on the street is, we make the best coffee scrub ever.
No, seriously — TheCoffeeScrub products are known for being gentle, yet effective:
“...I live in Colorado and the climate here is dry year round. It's hard to find a scrub that does not dry or irritate my skin. This scrub smells amazing and exfoliates my skin and leaves my skin feeling soft and rejuvenated...” - Bella.
What’s our secret, you ask? We never compromise on the quality of ingredients. After two years of lab work, we’ve formulated the perfect blend for a gentle, aromatic, and rejuvenating peel experience.

- 100% organicto take care of you and the environment

Curious to know what exactly is in our beauty brew? Here’s a breakdown of the quality ingredients we put together to develop a refreshing coffee scrub.
The Exfoliant
Regardless of which skin type you have, exfoliation is the key to a beautiful, glowing complexion. It sloughs off dead skin cells and increases the efficacy of your moisturizing products. Coffee grounds are our exfoliant of choice, and with good reason.
Ground Coffee

Unlike sugar, salt, and other exfoliants, ground coffee has small, regularly shaped particles that do not cause micro-tears in the skin. Its natural fragrance is well-tolerated by all skin types, not to mention its many health benefits.
Coffee is rich in antioxidants that promote a healthier skin tone. It also has lots of caffeic acid that reduces premature aging of skin cells.
When we tell you to slather on our beauty brew and massage away at least once or twice a week, we have a good reason for doing so. According to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, massages stretch skin tissue to improve the appearance of cellulite.
Massaging coffee grounds on your skin in circular motions introduces caffeine’s stimulating effect that improves blood flow and eliminates excess water. Moreover, caffeine penetrates the skin to dilate blood vessels and reduce the appearance of skin dimples.
Coffee grounds are so good for acne-prone skin.
Scrubbing with coffee grounds unclogs pores. The chlorogenic acids in this ingredient reduce inflammation and protect against various strains of acne-causing bacteria.
Don’t believe in the power of coffee? Our customers rave about the gentle exfoliation our scrub offers:
“I have very reactive skin due to a rare disease, and this scrub has saved my skin while living in the Arctic! Best scrub I’ve ever used in my 40 years! Thank you!!!!”

The Emollients
While coffee grounds slough off dead skin cells, natural oils soften the new skin layer and ease inflammation. Emollients are essential ingredients in our scrub that alleviate dryness and irritation.
Depending on your skin type, a homemade scrub with only coconut oil might not be sufficient. Each of the six oils in our organic scrub is chosen for specific health benefits.
Grapeseed Oil
Grapeseed oilis a by-product of winemaking. It comes from pressed seeds of grapes and is beneficial to the skin due to the following properties:
