How to Get Radiant Skin With Body Polishing

Before you read any further —

Take a deep breath…

Close your eyes…

Run your fingers all over your body...

How does your skin feel?

Bumpy? A bit dry? A few pimples here and there?

Well, this is your body screaming for some tender loving care.

Just like your face, feet, and hands (hello mani-pedis), your body needs some serious pampering using the right exfoliant. Why? Because you need to get rid of the dead skin cells your skin sheds every 27 days.

And this is where our vegan, cruelty-free coffee scrubs  shine best.

Packed with antioxidants and steeped in organic body oils, your skin will appreciate becoming an integral part of your weekly self-care schedule.

“New Addiction! It's refreshing, and uplifting, let's not forget about the smell 😍 I work outside in the Georgia heat, so I usually use my scrub at the end of the week and it's amazing. I chose Rose for the intention of helping my rosacea, it does. I'll definitely be repurchasing.”

— Emily, French Vanilla Coffee Scrub

What Is Body Polishing?

Body polishing simply entails scrubbing your entire body with an exfoliant that leaves your skin clean and feeling hydrated.

Here are the main benefits of regularly treating yourself to body polishes:

  • Promotes cell growth — Exfoliating your skin through body polishing not only removes the dirt that’s piled up in your pores, it also stimulates the growth of new cells. This ultimately lets your skin breathe and enhances blood circulation.
  • Rejuvenates skin — People living in busy hectic cities and polluted environments are more prone to having skin that appears dull and lifeless. Regular body polishing sessions are essential to get rid of dead cells on the surface of the skin.

The process of exfoliation results in the opening of skin pores, so you need an agent that closes said pores to avoid the re-entry of dirt.

This is where our coffee scrubscome in. Loaded with hydrating essential oils like olive oil and almond oil, your skin gets clean and moisturized all in one breath.

And, since the oils can now penetrate more deeply into your skin, this makes for a glowing complexion.
  • Stimulates blood flow — Exfoliation and massage in body polishing helps in constant stimulation of blood flow, and helps the skin to relax.

In fact, the caffeine in coffee actually dilates the blood vessels beneath the skin. This not only boosts blood flow, but breaks down toxins and fatty tissue within the skin.

How Can I Polish My Skin at Home?

That’s easy, with our fragrant calming coffee scrubs. You’re spoiled for choice!

We know what you’re thinking — “Coffee for your skin? Are you sure?”

Yes. Both your body and your brain can benefit from the antioxidants found in coffee. Namely, caffeine.

But how does this work?

Well, the antioxidants and chlorogenic acids found in coffee clear clogged pores and reduce inflammation in your skin. This goes a long way in helping people who battle eczema.

“Obsessed is an understatement! I recently received the coffee rose scrub in my Ipsy bag and let me tell you....holy cheese and crackers this stuff is amazing. I have eczema really bad especially on my hands and it makes them extremely dry and they peel often. I have not felt my hands ever be so smooth in my life. I am ordering more as we speak. I have legit tried everything for my hands and this is the only product to give me relief. Also my glutes are very soft hehe :). So thank you! thank you!”

— Brittany, Coconut Rose Scrub

So forget those other acne cleansers full of names we can barely pronounce, and treat you and your skin to an organic blend of natural oils.

And now you’re thinking, “No way!”

Yes, way.

Let's treat that beautiful body of yours to an organic blend that’s as energizing and refreshing as that first cup of Joe in the morning, shall we?

Here’s your simple scrubbing routine:

It’s all fine and dandy to scrub away. In fact, we encourage it.

But please take note of the following precautions:

  • Don’t use a lot of force when scrubbing your skin, as you might end up with scratches or marks which is counterproductive. Instead, gently and slowly massaging is always the best way to go.
  • If you have sunburnt-sensitive skin, don’t do a body polish treatment. Any harsh, rough, or vigorous movement may damage the skin further.
  • If you're battling an illness like cancer, we recommend you don’t do body polishing to avoid skin reactions of any kind.
  • After your body polishing treatment, always apply sunscreen before stepping out into the sun. Direct sunlight may be harmful to your newly clean skin.
  • Avoid using soap bars after your body polishing treatment, because soap tends to have a drying effect on the skin. This sweeps away all the moisturizing effects you’ve worked hard to attain.

“My Favorite Product! As a licensed esthetician, I like to keep my clients in the loop as to what would be the best possible products for them to use on their skin to keep it exfoliated and fresh! I always lead my waxing clients to The Coffee Scrub! It’s perfect for all skin types, helps prevent ingrown hairs, and makes you feel silky smooth!!”

Frequently Asked Questions on Body Polishes

How Often Should You Get a Body Polish?
If you want to keep your skin looking au naturale, we recommend scrubbing a couple of times a month — preferably two to three times a week.

This is because coffee scrubs are most effective if used frequently to exfoliate and increase blood flow for healthier-looking skin.

In fact, some of our customers share how they've seen the best results after the second or third scrub. And for this happy customer, it even worked on the first try:

“I'm hooked. Im in love with this product. I use it all over and my skin feels amazing. Hands down the best body scrub I've ever used. I live in a high altitude dry environment + i have thyroid issues so my skin can get very dull & dry. After my 1st use i noticed a huge difference.”

— Christine

Does Body Polishing Remove Tan?
Body polishing has a significant impact on the concealed parts of the body like the back, the stomach, and the thighs.

So in case you’ve been, say, to the beach and picked up an uneven tan that you want to get rid of, a body scrub may work for you.

Is the Scrub Safe for My Shower Drain?
Totally. Just rinse your shower after your exfoliating session, and watch the scrub easily wash down the drain with zero clogging.

That being said, don’t pour an excess amount of scrub down the drain at one time — pace, pace, pace yourself.

Can I Use Coffee Scrub on My Face?
Yes, you can. Our all-organic, robusta caffeine formula works to reduce swelling and inflammation.

When applied to the skin, caffeine quickly targets the problem areas on the face and increases blood flow. This can help with things like minimizing the look of puffy eyes.

But don’t just take our word for it — try it in the morning after a long night.

“Ahhmazing! I have been using this product for over a year now! Makes me skin feel amazing and the smell of coffee is refreshing. Once in awhile I use it on my face gently, and the results are amazing! Soft supple skin!”

— Dana Ehlers, Coconut Coffee Scrub
